Mocha Pudding Cake

I usually test out new recipes throughout the year for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner. I came across the delicious dessert recipe, but forgot to try it during the year. Now we are 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving.... so I'm about to place the ingredients in the crock-pot for the big test! It looks awesome and easy... I will let you know how it turns out!

Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Stir together all ingredients except ice cream in a large bowl. Pour into a lightly greased 3-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until set around the edges but still soft in the center. Let stand, covered, 30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.

Garlic Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread

1 can of refrigerated Grands biscuits
1/2 stick of butter
3 cloves of garlic  minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian Seasoning (I omitted)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Throw the cold 1/2 stick of butter in a bundt pan and let it melt in the preheating oven.

While the butter melts, cut the Grands biscuits into quarters. In a bowl, toss the biscuit pieces, garlic, Italian Seasoning, and Parmesan cheese together.

Once the butter is melted, add the biscuit mixture, sprinkling with any cheese and garlic that gets let behind in the bowl.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20- 22 minutes until golden brown. Turn out on a dish and enjoy!

Fried Chicken

Vegetable oil (such as peanut), enough to cover chicken and allow it to float
3/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 whole frying chicken cut into pieces, or about 8 individual pieces of chicken
2 cups flour
In a deep, heavy skillet, large pot, or Dutch oven, heat the oil to 325 degrees. In a bowl, mix milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then dredge in flour, shaking off excess. Put chicken pieces in skillet a few at a time. Be careful not to crowd them and adjust heat to keep temperature even. Fry until done; pieces will float to the top. (Remember, thighs and legs take a little longer to cook.) Serves 4 to 6.
